Choose Syntax Highlight for Custom File type in Notepad++

Simple Way to set Custom Style

Go to Settings->Style Configurator and on the language list select the language syntax you want for your custom file type. A text fields appear on the bottom. Type in the extension without the dot in ‘User ext.’ field and restart Notepad++.
